Something to be happy about Reds fans
We don’t have to worry about Joey Votto and Brandon Phillips free agent talks this off-season. And from looking over the contracts, Cincinnati Reds are looking very good on paper for 2013. With most players returning and rumors already floating around that Walt Jocketty and staff are trying to re-sign Scott Rolen and Ryan Ludwick, along with Dusty Baker / coaching staff being solved very quickly too.
The postseason did not end the way we all wanted but the season was one of the best I have seen in many years as a Reds fan and I am really looking forward to the future, with players like Tony Cingrani, Billy Hamilton, Zack Cozart and Todd Frazier. And it looks like one of the Reds gambles has really paid off nicely; Homer Bailey!!! If he continues to pitch like he did in the end of 2012 the Reds will have a very solid starting rotation for many seasons to come.
