Jaime Garcia 8-2 vs. Reds
Jaime Garcia will be making his 13th career start against Cincinnati Reds and hopes he continues his winning ways against them. He has gone 8-2 with a 3.39 ERA against the Reds in his career. Garcia has really been a great pitcher for the Cardinals and his stats at home only make this team tougher to beat today. At home Garcia has a 20-11 record with a 2.45 ERA. The Reds will have to be very patient at the plate against Garcia and hope they can strike early like they did against Adam Wainwright yesterday.

Bronson Arroyo 8-14 vs. Cardinals
Bronson Arroyo will be making his 33rd career start against St. Louis Cardinals and hopes to get another win against a team that has had some very good success against him. Mat Latos yesterday broke his losing ways in Busch Stadium so hopefully Arroyo can do the same. 8-14 with a 4.60 ERA is not bad against a very tough team like St. Louis and I have a feeling Arroyo still has many more games to go against them.

and so it begins, again.
The Cincinnati Reds have made three moves so far from what I have found. They have signed free agent 2B Emmanuel Burriss. And they have signed free agent RHP Jeff Stevens and free agent C Nevin Ashley. I thought I would add some links to Stevens and Ashley so everyone can take a look at them. Burriss looks like a good glove to have off the bench so I am happy with that one. I am still looking into the other two players but from what I have found, they both look like good players to have just in case of injuries.

Free (for the right price)
I love the MLB off-season just as much as I do the regular season and post season. And with modern technology, everyone can get in on the fun and see who goes where within minutes of the move. Here are some links that will help you keep up to track on the latest moves. Cincinnati Reds will be looking for a lead-off hitting CF, a Power right handed LF and a closer this off-season. (If they can not re-sign key players like Madson, Broxton and Ludwick.) I am not sure if Walt Jocketty will look to fill these spots through free agency but it is always an option if the price is right.
